“Our goal is to support deserving special projects at Waialua High School while creating a sense of place for the Waialua Community”
Established in 2015, the Waialua Festival Foundation is a 501-3c non-profit organization that aims to serve the Waialua and North Shore communities of Oahu by creating an annual festival that financially supports projects at Waialua High and Intermediate School. The Waialua Carnival on March 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2016 is the first of these events.
Our annual carnival will strive to earn money for the school in a way that is fun and a good value for the community and the attendees. The community is provided an opportunity to have fun and see old friends and classmates while at the same time feeling good that all proceeds go back to the school.
The Waialua Festival Foundation is organized with an executive board of five members to govern the non-profit organization. In addition, a separate resource allocation board of five members will serve to distribute funds raised by the carnival. An organization by the community, for the community, transparency and communication are integral values of the Waialua Festival Foundation.
A full accounting of all funds raised and spent is available on this website. Please view the financial report from the menu of this website.
All volunteers are unpaid. Waialua Festival Foundation has no employees. We are 100% volunteer operated.
